This set features an UNLINED phelonion.
 
A unique and historical priest vestment set: unlined phelonion is made from 100% black wool finished with high quality galloon trim and paired with Regal black/burgundy/gold metallic brocade imported from Greece for the additional pieces of the vestment set. Epitrachelion, cuffs, and zone are lined with marine canvas for extra durability; epigonation has double-ply buckram interfacing so it can be drycleaned. These vestments are designed to provide years of beautiful service.
 
This set features an unlined phelonion which has several advantages: it keeps the cost down, the wearer cooler, and there is no lining to sag or snag. The poly brocades we use have a very even weave on the reverse side which means they are ideal for unlined phelonia.
